Château Scoudouc

A historic stone château turned venue and tea room, tucked into the Scoudouc countryside ten minutes from the campground. Worth a visit for the architecture, the gardens, and a slow afternoon tea.

Homarus Centre

Shediac's marine ecology centre, dedicated to Atlantic lobster conservation. Kid-friendly tours and touch tanks — a great morning stop before hitting the beach.

The World's Largest Lobster

Shediac's famous giant lobster sculpture in Rotary Park. A five-minute stop and a must-do photo. Every road trip needs one of these.

Parlee Beach Provincial Park

Warm saltwater, soft sand, and some of the warmest ocean water north of Virginia. Full-service park with washrooms, canteens, lifeguards, and wheelchair access to the beach.

Marché de Shediac Market

A bustling Sunday farmers' market in Pascal-Poirier Park, right in the heart of Shediac five minutes from the campground. Local produce, home-baked goods, prepared foods, and crafts from New Brunswick makers. Open 9 AM to 2 PM, mid-June through mid-September.

Magnetic Hill

Put your car in neutral at the bottom and watch it roll uphill. It's an optical illusion, but it's still delightful the first time. Part of a larger Moncton complex with a zoo, go-karts, and a water park next door — plan to make a day of it.

Le Pays de la Sagouine

An Acadian-themed cultural island in Bouctouche, about thirty minutes up the coast. Live music, outdoor theatre, fresh seafood, and enough storytelling to make you wish you'd grown up here. A highlight for anyone curious about Acadian culture.

La Dune de Bouctouche

A two-kilometre boardwalk over a fragile coastal dune system. Free to visit, wide open to birdwatchers, beach walkers, and anyone who just wants a long quiet stretch of sea air. Binoculars encouraged.

Hopewell Rocks

About an hour south, at the Bay of Fundy — where the tides rise over fifteen metres twice a day. At low tide you walk the ocean floor around towering sandstone flowerpot formations; at high tide you can kayak between them. Worth the drive.
